The Stages Of The Restoration

     The photo on the bottom right shows the re-leading process mostly done.  As you can see, all that’s left is the lower right corner of the window. Once its finished, each joint is fluxed and then soldered.

The Wax-up

     The wax up is part of the drawing and painting process. It’s done on a light table, which lets you view how all the pieces look together. (top right photo)

 

The Re-Leading

     Next we start the re-leading process. Each finished piece is taken off the wax-up one at a time and is fitted with hi alloy lead came as original, then reassembled as original.  (Left bottom photo)
