The photo on the bottom right shows the re-leading process mostly done. As you can see, all that’s left is the lower right corner of the window. Once its finished, each joint is fluxed and then soldered. |

The Wax-up The wax up is part of the drawing and painting process. It’s done on a light table, which lets you view how all the pieces look together. (top right photo)
The Re-Leading Next we start the re-leading process. Each finished piece is taken off the wax-up one at a time and is fitted with hi alloy lead came as original, then reassembled as original. (Left bottom photo) |
